West Ham have loaned Edimilson Fernandes to Fiorentina.

West Ham midfielder Edimilson Fernandes completed his loan move to Fiorentina this week.
After making the switch, the Swiss midfielder opened up on his hopes with the Serie A side.
Edimilson said he hopes to have the success and trust he felt he lacked with the Hammers.
Last season he made only nine Premier League starts, and eight the year beforehand, failing to convince managers Slaven Bilic and David Moyes.

New boss Manuel Pellegrini was seemingly not convinced either, sanctioning his loan exit, which has a permanent option if Fiorentina wish to take it up.
Quoted by Football Italia, Edimilson said: “I feel that I have matured after my spell in England and hope now to have a role that makes the best of my abilities.
“From the first chats with the Coach Stefano Pioli, I can tell that he is counting on me. I hope to find in Italy what I was missing in England.”
Edimilson sounds excited about getting his chance in Italy, but also does not sound entirely happy with how his West Ham experience went.
Like any player, he wants to start games and felt like he wasn’t being appreciated to his fullest at the Hammers.
Whether his comments are a dig at West Ham, or just an honest assessment, Edimilson now has a fresh chance to move his career on.
