Just a few days ago, Celtic were reported to have made a bid for Dusko Tosic of Besiktas.
According to Aksam, the Glasgow giants made an offer of around £2.5 million, with Turkish club Besiktas claimed to be looking for £3.5m (click here to read more).

Tosic is a good and experienced defender who can operate as a central defender or as a left-back, and the Serbia international would be a good signing for Celtic, at least in the short term.
However, the chances of Brendan Rodgers’s side securing the services of the defender may have gone. That’s because a number of clubs in the Premier League are now reported to be keen on Tosic.

According to Fanatik, Everton and Tottenham are interested in the former Werder Bremen defender, with Fotomac claiming of Leicester City’s interest and Aksam stating that West Ham want him.
True, Celtic are a big club, but with the likes of Tottenham, Leicester, West Ham and Everton all reported to be interested in Tosic, the Bhoys will find it hard to sign Tosic in the January transfer window.
