According to The Daily Record, Celtic are interested in signing Stephen O’Donnell from Kilmarnock in the summer transfer window, but there has been no contact.

It has been reported that O’Donnell is still on the radar of Celtic, but the Glasgow giants have not made any contact with Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock.

The 27-year-old is a very good right-back, and the Hoops need to sign a player for that position due to the departure of Mikael Lustig.

The summer transfer window will not last very long, and the Champions League qualifiers are set to get underway.

Pre-season training at Celtic have already started, and the Hoops need to act quickly regarding O’Donnell.

The right-back will need some time to get used to Neil Lennon’s way of doing things, and the sooner the Glasgow giants sign him, the better it will be both for him and for the team.

According to WhoScored, O’Donnell made 37 starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Kilmarnock last season.
