Celtic are reportedly in the hunt to sign Lovro Majer from NK Lokomotiva.

Celtic fans would have been intrigued to see the reports coming out of Belgian outlet Voetbal Nieuws earlier this week which suggested that the Hoops are amongst the host of sides to send scouts to watch NK Lokomotiva midfielder Lovro Majer.
Majer is one of the most highly-rated youngsters in Croatian football right now and has been a shining light in what has been an underwhelming season for Lokomotiva, with eight goals for the 20-year-old attacking midfielder so far this season.

It is probably little surprise therefore, that Celtic are keen on the starlet and have been joined by Premier League pair Newcastle United and Everton in keeping an eye on the player, according to reports from Voetbal Nieuws.
But while the Hoops may have an eye on the player, reports from Calciomercato back in February hint that the deal will be much more difficult for Celtic to pull off.

If Lokomotiva do value Majer at something around the eight-figure fee, then you would imagine that Celtic stand little chance of getting a deal across the line as it would see the Scottish Premiership side smash their transfer record by quite some way.
If however, Lokomotiva actually value Majer at a price much more affordable, then Celtic should do all they can to make a deal happen as the signs suggest that he is going to be a very special player indeed in years to come.
