Celtic and West Bromwich Albion have reportedly targeted Graham Potter of Swansea City.

Both Celtic and West Bromwich Albion have been linked with Graham Potter, but it seems that the Hoops and the Baggies are set to miss out on the Swansea City manager.

According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 59, May 5, 2019), Scottish Premiership club Celtic and West Brom in the Championship in England are looking at Potter (click here to read more).

Neil Lennon is in charge of the Hoops at the moment, but his contract at the Glasgow giants is only until the end of the season.

As for the Baggies, James Shan has been the caretaker-manager of West Brom since March 2019 following the departure of Darren Moore.

However, it now seems that both Celtic and West Brom are set to miss out on Potter to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.

On Friday, BBC Sport reported that Swansea had offered Potter a new contract to fend off interest from Brighton.

However, The Argus has claimed today that the Seagulls have opened talks with Potter after triggering his release clause of £3 million.

It has been reported that talks between Brighton and Potter will continue over the next 48 hours, and that the 43-year-old has told the Swans that he wants to move to the Seagulls.

It seems that Celtic and West Brom will have to look elsewhere in their managerial hunt.
