Reports from Turkey suggest that Besiktas have emerged as candidates to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart this summer.
Hart is set to leave the Etihad Stadium as he does not feature in manager Pep Guardiola’s plans and Turkish publication, Fotomac, say that the reigning Super Lig champions are considering a move.
Their current number one, Fabri, is the subject of interest from Olympiacos and could leave if his £4.4m valuation is met by the Greek outfit.
This in turn could see Besiktas move for Hart, which might mean Slaven Bilic’s former club will beat the West Ham United boss to the 30-year-old’s signature.
The Mirror reported that the Hammers were among a trio of Premier League sides interested in the England international, along with Liverpool and Manchester United.

However, with moves for Hart from the other two now looking unlikely, West Ham were the only realistic prospect from the English top tier for the City stopper’s signature.
Yet with no bid forthcoming so far – because according to football.london there are concerns over the ‘keeper’s high wages demands – Bilic could be beaten to the prize by the team he left for East London back in 2015.
