Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers both are keen to snap up young Premier League forwards.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa appear to be on a collison course, after devising similar transfer plans.

Both Wolves and Villa are targeting strikers this summer, with the pair keen to upgrade their forward lines.

And Steve Bruce and Nuno are both said to be looking towards the Premier League for additions.

The Express and Star have suggested that Wolves could look for a young striker on loan from a top flight club.

And the Birmingham Mail say that Bruce has devised exactly the same plan at Villa.

With a number of young Premier League forwards heading out on loan already, there are now limited options to choose from.

And that could put Wolves and Villa at loggerheads, as they aim to bring new strikers in.

Both Wolves and Villa are among the favourites for promotion this term, and have been very active in the summer transfer window to date.
