West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest all reportedly want Bakary Sako.
Bakary Sako is a free agent at the moment following his departure from Crystal Palace at the end of last season, and a number of clubs including Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough are reportedly interested in the former Wolverhampton Wanderers star.
Earlier this month, TEAMtalk claimed that Villa and Middlesbrough are interested in signing Sako on a free transfer.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 63, September 9, 2018), Nottingham Forest and West Bromwich Albion are eyeing a deal for the 30-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger (click here to read more).
However, there is a distinct possibility that both Villa and Forest could miss out on the services of Sako to Championship rivals West Brom.
West Brom manager Darren Moore has revealed that the Mali international attacker is training with his squad and has also suggested that he is interested in signing Sako.
The Baggies seem to have taken a major step in their quest to sign Sako, and it will be worrying for the Villans and the Reds.
Moore told The Birmingham Mail about Sako: “If we are going to go any further with Bakary then you’ll be the first to know. He’s been in training and that’s where we are at the moment.
“We’ve just been having a look. He’s wanted to come in and train and we’ve had a look at his fitness.”
