Watford midfielder’s form has dipped since recent talk of a move to Tottenham or Liverpool heightened.

Abdoulaye Doucoure was one of the breakout stars in the first half of the Premier League season.
His dynamic performances for Watford understandably attracted interest from many of the league’s top teams.
The Mirror reported last month that both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are interested in the 25-year-old, and have put a £40 million price tag on him.
Since these reports, Doucoure has begun to fade.

He has remained an ever present in Watford’s midfield, but his form has taken a noticeable dip.
Doucoure has scored seven times this season in the league, but none of his goals have come in the past 10 games, and he was last on target on January 13.
While he provided two assists in the win over Chelsea in early February, those are the only two he has managed.
Opta powered website whoscored.com rated his past two performances at lower than 6/10, most recently 5.85, having graded him 8.34/10 in the victory over Watford.

Against Bournemouth at the weekend he did not manage a single tackle or interception – having managed more than 110 combined through this season beforehand.
Doucoure’s early season performances, particularly his ability to score from midfield, made him deserving of rumours of a big money move.
Recent weeks have been more of a reality check for the midfielder, and he needs to step it up if he is going to convince Tottenham or Liverpool to splash out.
