Ex-Spurs player and manager Ardiles believes Tottenham deserve full credit for their victory and United’s problems should not detract from it.

Former Spurs captain Graham Roberts also hailed the club’s victory, and picked out Toby Alderweireld, Lucas Moura and Mousa Dembele out as the team’s top three players from the win.
Two of those players, Alderweireld and Dembele were linked with leaving Tottenham in the summer.
Spurs decided to stick instead of twist and they should be glad they did, as they now sit pretty with a 100 per cent record after three games.
