Aston Villa drew 2-2 with Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

Aston Villa continue to entertain under Dean Smith, as they took a point against Stoke City in a 2-2 draw on Saturday afternoon.
Villa drew at West Bromwich Albion last weekend and were looking to get back to winning ways with a home game against Stoke.
Joe Allen’s 47th minute goal put Stoke in front, and chaos ensued late on at Villa Park with three goals in the final 20 minutes.
Tammy Abraham scored from the penalty spot, before Stoke got a spot kick of their own, and converted it through Benik Afobe, only for Jonathan Kodjia to rescue a point for Villa.
Villa saw substitute Kodjia change the game, as winger Anwar El Ghazi didn’t have much luck going up against the Stoke defence in a frustrating afternoon for the Dutchman.

The 23-year-old, currently on loan from Lille, had hit three goals in three games before facing Stoke, and had really started to show his quality under Smith.
After the game, El Ghazi took to Twitter to offer a frank verdict on his display, admitting that it was ‘not my best game’, but thanked fans and looked ahead to Sunday’s game against Leeds United.
