Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi scored Dean Smith’s side’s first goal in the play off final yesterday.

El Ghazi scored Villa’s first goal in their play off final against Derby County, and was arguably their biggest attacking threat at Wembley.
The Dutch winger was a constant menace throughout the contest, as he caused the Derby backline plenty of problems.
And El Ghazi has insisted that he now wants to be with Villa next term, when they play in the Premier League.
He said: “I really enjoy it here, I love the club and the fans. I have to talk with my agent now, but this club is amazing. I will be very happy if I can stay here but we have to figure it out with Lille first. I hope everything goes well so I can stay.”

The transfer should be a relatively straight forward one as a result, and it would be a surprise if Villa do not opt to bring the 24-year-old in permanently.
El Ghazi has played a key role at Villa since Smith arrived, and his desire to stay gives claret and blues fans even more reason to celebrate after yesterday’s play off success.
