The former Manchester United right-back had been linked with a move to Sheffield United.

Antonio Valencia will not be joining Sheffield United this summer.
The right-back left Manchester United at the end of last season and agents acting on his behalf had tried to initiate talks with the Red Devils’ Sheffield namesakes, according to The Star.
But Valencia will instead return to his native Ecuador with Quito-based Liga Deportiva Universitaria.
LDU were Serie A champions last season but currently sit seventh in the standings.
While Valencia might not be Sheffield United-bound, one of his former Old Trafford colleagues might well be.
Ravel Morrison, who is also a free agent, visited the Blades’ Bramall Lane ground on Thursday, although it is unclear whether a deal is likely, according to Andy Giddings of BBC Radio Sheffield.

Morrison had earlier ‘liked’ a tweet hinting at the above, but has since played down the significance of his actions.
The attacking midfielder is without a club after leaving Ostersunds FK earlier this month, but refuted claims that he had walked out on the Swedish side.
Would Valencia have been a good addition for Sheffield United?
