Tottenham Hotspur players have been ‘blown away’ by new boss Antonio Conte – and absolutely love his decision to add Ryan Mason to his coaching staff.

That’s according to Football.London, who claim Conte has made a huge impact in his first week at Tottenham.

It’s suggested that Tottenham players have been blown away by Conte’s training sessions.

There are two main reasons for that reaction. The first is that Conte spends time working on small details with his players.

The second is that Conte has already shown his man management skills, and Tottenham players are loving life under the Italian after just a matter of days in the job.

Additionally, Conte’s request for Ryan Mason to be part of his coaching staff has gone down very well with Tottenham players.

Mason could be key to Conte’s success at Tottenham

Many players in this Tottenham squad played with Mason. The likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Ben Davies and Son Heung-min were all alongside Mason under Mauricio Pochettino.

Add in that Mason worked with the Tottenham squad as caretaker manager at the back end of last season and he is a vital man around Tottenham.

Mason started his association with Tottenham in 1999. He is a true Tottenham man, and that could be vital to Conte.

The Italian is an incredible manager, there is no doubt about that. His trophy record with Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan says it all.

Yet having somebody alongside him who knows Tottenham inside out, knows the fan base, knows the structure of the club… that could be so crucial for Conte.

Tottenham players seemingly love having Mason around, so add in that training ground buzz and this move just makes so much sense for Conte.
