Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told Football.London that he was disappointed at the way Japhet Tanganga got his yellow card against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Conte has said that he did not think that Tottenham defender Tanganga should have received the caution against Chelsea in the London derby on Sunday.
Tottenham lost the Premier League game 2-0.
Tanganga, 22, got a yellow card for a foul on Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The youngster did not have a good game, and the yellow card made it even worse for him.
Tottenham head coach Conte was not pleased with Harry Kane having his goal in the first half disallowed either.
Conte told Football.London: “In the first half, the referee disallowed a goal and I was very clear with him because I think it’s best sometimes it’s to tell the referee in a polite way, to see this type of goal disallowed in England is incredible.
“Maybe in Italy 50-50, but in England it was incredible this. So it hurt me a lot the yellow card to Tanganga.
“It can seem a stupid thing but instead no, a yellow card it affects the game and Tanganga, I had to make a substitution but I repeat the referee can make a good or bad decision but it’s normal like me or the players.”

Tottenham remain in Premier League top-four hunt
In our view, despite the defeat to Chelsea, Tottenham are still in the hunt for the Premier League top four this season.
Yes, there is a gap between Chelsea and Tottenham, but the fourth spot is certainly up for grabs.
Chelsea have a better squad than Spurs, and a win for Thomas Tuchel’s side was always expected, especially at Stamford Bridge.
However, Tottenham are still only two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United and have two games in hand.
