Antonio Conte has posted a video on his Instagram of him enjoying himself during Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Norwich City from the weekend.
During one moment of the match, the Spurs boss was handed the ball by the third official and the Italian opted to thump the ball back into play using his right foot.
The Spurs fans around him absolutely loved it and he has now posted a clip of that on his IG, added with the caption ‘good skill’.
Conte hasn’t been in the Tottenham job for much long, but he is already proving to be a very popular figure with the supporters already.
Some Spurs fans probably still can’t believe they have been able to lure such a trophy-laden coach towards their direction.
Of course, they previously had Jose Mourinho in charge, but Conte has produced the goods most recently and, outside of the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola, is one of the most sought-after coaches in world football.
Well, he is now on the training field at Hotspur Way and ready to push the club towards winning trophies and getting back into the Champions League.
Whilst that is a long-term goal, they need to start with progressing through to the knockout stages of the Europa Conference League on Thursday night and then continuing their fine form in the Premier League.
It’s a home clash against French side Rennes tomorrow night, before they travel to the South Coast to face Graham Potter’s Brighton at the weekend.
