Antonio Conte has posted on Instagram that Tottenham are on the ‘right’ track, despite it not being an easy road.

Tottenham are sitting just outside the European places in the Premier League and they will be hoping to put things right at Brighton on Wednesday night.

The north London club make the trip to the Amex Stadium hoping to put three points on the board after losing 3-2 to Manchester United last time out.

There is always a lot of talk around Tottenham, the man in the dugout and where the club is headed.

But, whilst Conte understands that it’s a rocky road, judging by his Instagram, Spurs are seemingly headed in the right direction and fans will love his comments.

It’s pretty obvious that Conte needs backing this summer and Daniel Levy has to show ambition in the market.

Spurs failed to showcase proper backing to their previous trophy-laden coach – Jose Mourinho – and missed their chance of a trophy.

With Conte, in recent years, he has been riding a higher wave than Mourinho, so if he is backed, then he might do a lot more than just add a trophy to the club’s cabinet.

But that’s where those in Tottenham’s boardroom need to meet the Italian halfway because he has proven, if he is backed, then he will do the business.

Although, before all that can start, Spurs need to sort out their Premier League form, as defeat against an out-of-form Brighton side will only dampen the mood further in the camp.
