Tottenham Hotspur host Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Antonio Conte has suggested that he believes that Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has the potential to become one of the world’s best coaches, while also stating that Spurs are capable of being regular challengers in the Premier League title race, Sky Sports reports.
Tottenham host Conte’s Chelsea in a league clash on Wednesday night. And while the Blues’ incredible winning run and current league position may leave some making them favourites for the contest, Spurs cannot be ruled out.

Pochettino’s men have won their last four and have scored 13 in the process, including eight in their last two. And with the advantage of the game being played at White Hart Lane, Tottenham will surely believe that they can secure the points.
But based on his assessment of the man who will be in the opposite dugout, it appears that Conte feels that form and home advantage are not the only things that Spurs have going for them.
“I think Pochettino is showing that he can be one of the best coaches in the world because he is doing fantastic work with Tottenham,” he said, as reported by Sky Sports.

“They are one team that can fight to win the title in the present and the future. I give my best compliment to him because I saw this in the past and I’m seeing this in the present, that they are a really strong team.”
Pochettino will surely have to showcase exactly why Conte rates him so highly if Tottenham are to take a share of the points against the Blues and subsequently mount a serious title challenge this season.
Chelsea are 10 points clear of Spurs at the moment, and would obviously extend that lead with a win. And with their opponents putting 13 consecutive league wins together, Tottenham’s best performance of the campaign may be required if they hope to extend their own winning run.
