Antonio Conte and Patrice Evra are among those who have reacted on Instagram to Aston Villa signing Ashley Young on a free transfer.
Villa have announced that they have re-signed former Manchester United winger Young.
The 35-year-old, who can also play as a full-back, left Inter Milan at the end of last season.
Young joined Inter in January 2020 and helped the Nerazzurri win the Serie A title last season.
Villa have now decided to bring the veteran back to Villa Park on a one-year contract.
Conte was Young’s manager at Inter, and the former Chelsea boss has wished the winger the best of luck at Villa Park.
Evra played with Young at Manchester United, and he is pleased to see the winger back at the club.
Young is 35 now and is clearly past his best.
However, the 35-year-old can still do a good job in the Premier League.
The Englishman will make Villa stronger on the wings, and his versatility to play as a full-back will also give manager Dean Smith a valuable option.

Young made 16 starts and 10 substitute appearances in Serie A for Inter last season.
The winger scored one goal and gave four assists in those games.
The former United star also played five times in the Champions League and thrice in the Coppa Italia.
Young was at Villa from 2007 until 2011 and knows all about the club.
