The Inter Milan winger has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs fans are becoming increasingly more frustrated with every week that passes, with their club still yet to make a summer singing, whilst all of their direct rivals continue to strengthen.
With just three weeks remaining until the start of the new Premier League campaign, Mauricio Pochettino will surely be honing in on some of his primary targets, as he looks to bolster his side in preparation for a challenge on all fronts this term.
Reports emanating from Italy today though suggest that Tottenham are tracking Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva, according to Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

The 30-year-old Italian is surely not in the bracket of players who the Lilywhites should be looking to sign though, and he certainly doesn’t possess the kind of attributes that would help elevate Spurs to an even higher level.
The former Lazio man’s statistics are hardly the most inspiring, for a so-called attacking player. In 420 career appearances he has registered 68 goals and 70 assists – nowhere near the kind of return that would impress many Tottenham fans.
It could also be argued that Candreva’s career is now on the downward spiral, having already turned 30, and it would be so unlike Pochettino to bring a player to the club who is past the point of still having potential to fulfil.
The Italy international is still under contract at the San Siro for another three years as well, so the north London outfit will not even be able to secure themselves a bargain for the 30-year-old.
TuttoMercatoWeb claim that he is valued at around £25 million by the Nerazzurri.
And this is undoubtedly a transfer that Spurs should avoid at all costs, if they truly want to make a sustained push for major honours this season.
