Robinson is yet to make his Everton debut despite starring for Bolton last season.

Everton youngster Antonee Robinson has told the club’s official website that he is desperate to show Marco Silva what he is made of, suggesting that he wants to remain at Goodison Park this summer.
Robinson, 20, is yet to make his senior Everton debut despite the club’s woes on the left side of defence, after being loaned out to Championship side Bolton Wanderers last season – where he thrived.
The impressive Everton academy product made 34 league and cup appearances, helping Bolton avoid relegation and laying on five assists. His superb form saw Robinson earn his first caps for the United States.

Everton’s left-back problems still remain with only Leighton Baines considered the club’s only choice, with Luke Garbutt ostracised and Cuco Martina a right-back. Robinson could have a chance of first-team football, and sent a message to Silva.
“If I go back and do as well as I have with Bolton and the US, then hopefully I will get a chance,” Robinson said. “But you are not just handed anything. You have to earn everything you get. The manager has not seen me play for Everton yet, so I cannot expect anything.
“I just have to go back and try as hard as I can to do well. It has been a very long season. I have enjoyed every minute of it but I am looking forward to relaxing now. Then the hard work starts again in a few weeks.”

Former England left-back Baines suffered a calf problem early on in the season and had been sidelined since then, with Ronald Koeman and Sam Allardyce failing to bring a left-back to Goodison Park.
Now, Silva and new director of football Marcel Brands have a decision to make – do they stick with Baines and use Robinson as back-up with a view to moulding him into a first-team player? Or do they splash out in the transfer market.
With pre-season not far away now, Robinson could be given the chance to shine but his future could be considered a doubt with his contract set to expire at the end of next season.
