Queens Park Rangers boss Ian Holloway will take charge of his first match this weekend.
Anton Ferdinand and Gerry Francis have both backed Queens Park Rangers’ appointment of Ian Holloway on Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on 16th November.
Holloway has taken over from Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at Loftus Road, after a disappointing run of form saw QPR slip down to 17th place in the Championship table.

Rangers have won just two of their last 12 matches in all competitions, and they are now having to play catch up in the race for promotion.
And Francis believes that QPR may have to wait until next season to challenge for a play off place now.
“I think it’s a fantastic appointment for QPR. His priority for me is for the long-term, and next year try and get them back to the Premier League,” he said.

Former QPR defender Ferdinand has also given his backing to Holloway, as he feels the experienced manager has a connection with the supporters at Loftus Road.
“He knows the club as a player and a manager,” Ferdinand said. “He knows what the fans want. I think QPR were starting to go away from that, but with this man at the helm they’re going to get straight back into that.”
Holloway will take charge of QPR for the first time this weekend, when his side take on promotion chasing Norwich City.
If QPR are able to pick up a victory in the fixture they could move up into the top half of the Championship table, and move only three points behind the play off places.
