Anthony Stokes has agreed terms on a move to Championship side Blackburn Rovers, HITC Sport understands.
The 27-year-old is available on a free transfer from Scottish champions Celtic, and half the Championship have been in touch with him – as HITC Sport revealed.

But new Rovers boss Owen Coyle has won the day and persuaded Stokes to make the move to Ewood Park.
Stokes arrived in Lancashire on Friday morning for his medical, ahead of signing on the dotted line with Blackburn.
HITC Sport understands that Stokes has agreed a three-year deal with Blackburn and the move will see him return to play in English football for the first time since he left Sunderland for Hibernian in 2009.
