Tottenham are long term admirers of Anthony Martial.

Tottenham Hotspur have an opportunity to test out a fresh chance to sign Anthony Martial this summer.
There are mixed reports emerging over Martial’s future.
The Sun claim United are open to offers for Martial. The Mail don’t go quite as far, claiming it would be a surprise if the Red Devils sold him, despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s misgivings over his attitude.
This at least gives Tottenham the opportunity to try and tempt United into a deal for the versatile Frenchman.
Martial was reported last summer to be keen on a move to London by The Telegraph amid interest from Tottenham.
The same paper claimed Tottenham wanted to sign Martial from Monaco back in 2015. United eventually signed Martial, for a fee which could rise to £57 million.

Martial renewed his contract at United in January, which had previously been due to expire in 2020.
The Frenchman would be ideal for Tottenham, due to his ability to play both as a wide forward or up front, allowing him to play alongside Harry Kane and provide cover for him.
It would be a surprise if United sold to a rival, but their success may depend on just how frustrated Solskjaer is with the attacker, who was left out of the squad to face Huddersfield.
Amid claims Tottenham want to spend big this summer, via The Sun, going in for Martial is an opportunity to make a statement.
