Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha and Anthony Martial.

Tottenham Hotspur are yet to sign anyone this summer and the natives are understandably growing restless in North London.
However, the excitement of a club-record transfer could be afoot, with Tottenham heavily linked with moves for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha and Manchester United’s Anthony Martial.
According to The Telegraph, Spurs are hopeful of doing a deal for Martial, while The Mirror reckons that a £60 million swoop for Crystal Palace ace Zaha is on the cards.
The French attacker would also fetch that amount [The Daily Express], which means that there can only be one – and chairman Daniel Levy surely must punt for Martial.
Zaha, 25, is a superb footballer, but if a man-manager of Mauricio Pochettino’s talents got his hands on a player of Martial’s ability then the North Londoners could have an absolute gem in their ranks.
The former Monaco hitman is still only 22 and despite struggling to fulfill his potential under Jose Mourinho, Pochettino could take him to a different level entirely.
The Argentine manager has helped the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli develop into two of Europe’s finest players, and the prospect of Martial working under him is very exciting from a Spurs perspective.
The Red Devils will need a lot of convincing before they strengthen a rival, but if Tottenham can get him then he is a far better option than Zaha on a footballing and financial level, given his re-sale value could be colossal in the coming years, which will certainly factor into Levy’s decision.
