It is fair to say that Anthony Kim’s move to LIV Golf has not exactly lived up to expectations.

There was plenty of excitement when Kim first joined, with fans hoping he could return to the kind of form that once made him one of the most talked-about players on the PGA Tour.

But so far, his stint with LIV has been a real struggle so far. Despite staying positive and saying all the right things, his performances have not come close to matching what you would expect from someone on such a lucrative deal.

This weekend at LIV Indianapolis, Kim was relegated. Now, there are real questions about whether he has much of a future left in the league at all.

Anthony Kim’s run with LIV has not gone to plan, and after his recent relegation, he is facing some big decisions about what comes next.

This weekend did not bring any change in fortunes, and now questions are growing about whether he will stick with it or move on.

Taking to Instagram after the news broke, Kim shared a post reflecting on his time in the league and hinting at what might come next.

“Thank U @livgolf_league INDIANAPOLIS🙏 4 the ❤️. As many of y’all that support me know this was the final event of the individual season & unfortunately didn’t have the results this year. On a positive note my game has gotten significantly better even tho the scores def didn’t reflect it but gr8 things take time.

“I have lots of thoughts on the last 2 years, my journey in recovery from mental illness & addiction & my future plans I will share on www.anthonykimofficial.com starting next week that I think would be interesting 2 some. Thank U GOD 4 my family @emilybstanley & BELLA, sobriety, the ❤️& support from all around the world.”

Kim’s LIV Golf career

Anthony Kim’s time on the LIV Tour has been a disaster, and there is no way to sugarcoat it.

In 2024, his best finish was 36th, with most events seeing him well outside the top 50, and the following year did not bring much improvement either.

There were a couple of brighter moments – a T29 in Miami and a T25 in Dallas – but overall, it still was not enough to change the narrative.

The question now is whether LIV Golf can justify keeping him around. So far, there has not been much to suggest he deserves another chance.
