Aston Villa’s Callum O’Hare played well during his loan spell at Carlisle United.

Carlisle United central defender Anthony Gerrard has praised Aston Villa-owned attacking player Callum O’Hare on Twitter.
O’Hare, who can operate as a striker or as an attacking midfielder, spent the second half of the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Carlisle in League Two from Championship club Villa.
The 21-year-old has been playing well for his loan club and won the PFA Fans Award Player of the Month for April.
Anthony Gerrard, who is a cousin of Rangers manager and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, has praised the English youngster on Twitter.
Aston Villa breakthrough
O’Hare is a very talented and promising young player, and the 21-year-old will hope to break into the Villa first team next season.

However, it is going to be hard for the youngster, especially if Dean Smith’s side clinch promotion to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs.
According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old scored three goals in 16 League Two appearances for Carlisle in the second half of the season.
