Trevor Sinclair has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur will sign ‘another striker’ this summer and he has put forward Arnaut Danjuma’s name.
The Villarreal forward is on the transfer radar of West Ham, with Sinclair pointing out their interest, amid his suggestion that he could also head to Spurs, as he told Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel.
Richarlison was Antonio Conte’s big-money forward signing, with the former Everton star expected to play a back-up role to Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane, but perhaps push for a starting birth out on the right.

But added with Ivan Perisic, who is expected to play a left-sided wing-back role, could another attack-minded player arrive at Hotspur Way this summer?
Well, Sinclair certainly thinks that will happen, as he dropped Danjuma’s name into the Tottenham transfer hat.
“Is Danjuma done,” asked Sinclair? “I know West Ham were trying to get involved in that transfer.
“I do feel Conte wants one more up top. You just let the boy (Bergwijn) go to Ajax, which I think is great for him, even though it went perfect for him at Tottenham. I think he was a trier and he had good bits of quality.
“But it just didn’t happen and when you are up against two players, like Son and Kane, then your chances are going to be few and far between. It’s a good move for him. Frees up a bit of wages and £30 odd million.
“I think Spurs will bring another striker in. Who that will be? I am not sure. Maybe it will be Danjuma. But I know that West Ham are interested in that player.”

DANJUMA THRIVING IN SPAIN
Two seasons ago, Danjuma was in England’s second-tier trying to help Bournemouth ear promotion to the Premier League.
Before making a move to Spain last summer and signing on the dotted line for the then-Europa League champions, Villarreal, where things have gone well for the versatile forward.
An ‘explosive’ player on his day, a player who likes coming inside from the left and a player with a goalscoring touch, Danjuma has the magic to thrive in either Tottenham or West Ham colours after scoring ten in 23 league games last season.
Added with that, the Holland international also scored six in the Champions League, as Unai Emery’s side reached the semi-finals before being knocked out by Liverpool.
With Spurs recently selling Steven Bergwijn to Ajax, are they going to go in for another forward? Or is Conte happy with the forward line he has heading into the new season? One thing is for sure, he has enough numbers to pick from.
