Celtic could yet loan out another player, according to a report.
The Hoops sold Jeremie Frimpong during the January transfer window and loaned Olivier Ntcham to Marseille on deadline day.
And there’s now speculation about another Celtic player leaving.
The Dundee Evening Telegraph has reported that the Dark Blues have made contact with the Scottish Premiership champions about bringing Ewan Henderson in on a temporary basis.
Despite the transfer window being shut, clubs in the Scottish Championship can sign players on loan until the end of February.
The second-tier side are waiting to hear back from Celtic but the report adds that the Hoops want the player to get first-team experience and therefore a greenlight could be coming.
Henderson, young brother to former Bhoys player Liam, has had minimal game time under Neil Lennon this season, but did play in the Europa League victory over Lille in December.
Overall, the 20-year-old midfielder has 11 senior appearances for the club under his belt but, at his age, regular football is of paramount importance and if Lennon has no real plan to use him this season, another loan for Henderson – who had a stint with Ross County last term – makes perfect sense.
