Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after RMC Sport revealed that Leicester have submitted an opening bid to Lille for Boubakary Soumaré.

The French news outlet adds that another English club are also in talks with Lille over a deal for the 22-year-old.

Leicester are discussing a €25 million (£21.5 million) move with the Ligue 1 leaders.

Elsewhere, Fabrizio Romano claims that the Foxes agreed personal terms with Soumaré back in February.

The Italian adds that a few small details need to be ironed out before the transfer can be finalised.

Now, it seems as if some Arsenal fans below are a bit jealous of Leicester’s advanced negotiations to sign the midfield maestro.

Foot Mercato revealed back in August that the Gunners were in the race to sign Soumaré, a player they had been tracking for a while.

In that respect, Arsenal could well be the other English club mentioned by RMC Sport as being in negotiations with Lille.

We hope it is Arsenal, or the fans below will surely be fuming.

One supporter said this could be ‘another Kante moment’ – you might remember the story.

French journalist Julien Laurens told the BBC (via The Sun) that Arsenal went to scout N’Golo Kante while he was playing for Caen.

You can understand why Arsenal fans below are a little bit annoyed.

Leicester’s recruitment is top notch, so there’s every chance that Soumaré will be a fine addition and also a player who could improve Mikel Arteta’s side.

Let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying…
