Mousa Dembele has once again been praised as the most talented player to represent Tottenham Hotspur over the past decade.
Quite a lot of the Belgian midfielder’s past and present teammates have revealed that Dembele was ridiculously good.
And he was.
The former Fulham midfielder used to glide across the pitch for Tottenham, showing an upper-body strength that made some major players – like Paul Pogba for instance – struggle to get the ball off him.
Dembele was an absolute beast of a physical player but one who was technically sound, too.
Harry Kane has become the latest Tottenham player to sing his old colleague’s praises, telling Sky Sports’ YouTube channel that the 33-year-old was the most naturally gifted player that he has shared a field with.
The Lilywhites sold the stocky star to Chinese outfit Guangzhou City in January of 2019 for £11 million [The Guardian].
And here’s how some Tottenham fans reacted to Kane’s claim on Twitter:
Mauricio Pochettino, who really got the best out of Dembele at Spurs, told The Independent in 2018 that the player was nothing short of a ‘genius’ for what he brought to the team.
