Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Goal revealed that Victor Orta has tabled an offer for Rennes forward Raphinha.
Championship outfit Derby are also said to be interested, although Goal’s report states that a switch to Elland Road would be more appealing.
Goal add that Rennes need to raise funds, so they are leaving themselves open to offers for the Brazilian.
It is said by Goal that no decision has yet been made on Leeds’ offer for the 23-year-old, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side waiting on a response.
In the report, the Yorkshire-based outfit’s bid is said to be worth less than the €21 million (£19 million) Rennes paid for the player last summer when signing him from Sporting Lisbon.

This deal may be complicated by the fact that Raphinha needs a work permit in order to play in the Premier League.
However, the personal terms on offer are piquing the Rennes No.7’s interest.

Raphinha scored nine goals and recorded five assists in all competitions last season for the French side.
So far this term, he has two assists in five Ligue 1 outings, but is yet to score.
