Arsenal legend, Jens Lehmann was asked on talkSPORT whether he would join his fellow invincibles, and Daniel Ek, in wanting to takeover the club.
The former goalkeeper simply responded by saying: “Ha, it’s a good question… we’ll see.”
Whilst it was a cryptic response from the German, it’s one that perhaps suggested that he would be willing if the opportunity arose.
At the end of the day, many Arsenal legends are now becoming sick and tired at how the club is being run from the top.
Arsenal legendary trio, Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira are joining Spotify owner, Ek, in trying to buy the club, as reported by Sky Sports.
On top of that, the likes of Ian Wright have come out publicly and urged Arsenal’s American owners, Stan Kroenke to sell up.
It would be the dream for the Arsenal fans to have legends on their board and them trying to steer the club in the right direction.
Added with that, having a wealthy owner, who is a boyhood fan and has the club’s best interests at heart and not just the money coming through the door.
But the Kroenke’s have been stubborn since the day they walked through the Emirates doors, and more legends calling them out, more fan protests will perhaps send a clear sign that they are not wanted by those who don the Arsenal colours.
