Darren Bent has said on YouTube (4:24pm, January 9, 2023) that he is annoyed that Joao Felix is going to Graham Potter’s Chelsea and not to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker has said that he wanted Arsenal to sign Felix from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window.

Bent is an Arsenal fan.

The Daily Record have reported that Felix is keen on a move to Chelsea despite interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.

TalkSPORT have reported that the 23-year-old Portugal international, who can operate as a forward, attacking midfielder or winger, has agreed to join Chelsea on loan from Atletico.

The former Premier League and UEfA Champions League winners will reportedly pay Atletico a loan fee of £10 million for Felix, who played at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

The report has also claimed interest from Arsenal and Manchester United in Felix, who cost Atletico £113 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Benfica in 2019 (BBC Sport).

Arsenal and Manchester United have reportedly not matched Atletico’s terms for a loan deal.

Chelsea have.
