Gary Neville has defended his comments about Leeds United on Monday Night Football, which was broadcast by Sky Sports.
Leeds were beaten 6-2 by Manchester United in their last outing, but Neville was very complimentary towards Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Rather than criticise them for their display at Old Trafford, Neville could only find positive words to say about Leeds, despite their heavy defeat.
And the pundit has now doubled down on those comments, as he feels that Leeds deserve a great deal of adulation for their style of football.
“I said yesterday on commentary that it maybe annoyed some people, that we spoke about Leeds as much as Manchester United. But when you watch this team live it is simple breathtaking,” he said.
“You can’t say anything negative about it. There will be cynics out there that say they can conceded too many goals and do this wrong, or do that wrong.
“I haven’t got anything bad to say about it. We analyse everyone to death, and they have just come up and they are an absolute breath of fresh air.”

Leeds have already been part of some of the most entertaining games in the league this term, and they have competed well upon their return to the top flight.
Bielsa’s side have taken some heavy losses, but they have also picked up many impressive victories already and a faring better than any of the other promoted sides.
Leeds are currently in 14th place in the Premier League table, having collected 17 points so far.
The Whites are next in action on Sunday, when they take on Burnley at Elland Road.
