Jamal Blackman has returned to Chelsea from his loan spell at Leeds United.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell is the only recognised first-team goalkeeper on the books of Leeds at the moment, with Jamal Blackman having returned to Chelsea from his loan spell after suffering a long-term injury.
The 22-year-old Northern Ireland international goalkeeper missed the Whites’ 2-0 win against Bristol City at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon due to injury.
Will Huffer made his senior competitive debut for the Whites, with Kamil Miazek on the substitutes’ bench.
Leeds Managing Director Kinnear has said that the West Yorkshire outfit will sign a goalkeeper in the January transfer window as a replacement for Blackman.

Kinnear in the club’s official matchday programme ahead of the game against City: “We will look to bring in goalkeeping cover early in the January window but we are lucky that we have Bailey who is one of the best young talents in the country.”
Positive update
Leeds do need an established goalkeeper, and the Elland Road faithful will be pleased to hear that the club are planning to sign one.
It is also positive that the Whites plan to get a goalkeeper in early January and not wait for a bargain towards the end of the window.
