Leeds United signed Eddie Nketiah and Ben White on loan from Arsenal and Brighton and Hove Albion respectively in the summer transfer window.

Kinnear has also said that Brighton and Hove Albion could recall Ben White in the middle of the season.
Leeds signed 20-year-old striker Nketiah on loan from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, while 21-year-old central defender White moved to Elland Road on loan from Brighton.
Kinnear told Talking Shutt, as transcribed by Leeds Live: “It’s fairly standard in these contracts to have January recalls but the decision is based on how well the loan’s going so if the players are playing, and they’re playing well, and they’re enjoying their football and they’re developing, which I think we can evidence in both Ben and Eddie’s case, then you’d be fairly confident that they recall wouldn’t be activated by the parent club.”
Back to Arsenal?
Nketiah has been playing well for Leeds this season, and has scored two goals in 78 Championship appearances and two goals in two EFL Cup ties, according to WhoScored.
The striker is progressing and developing well under Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa at the moment, and Arsenal should let him stay at the Championship club until the end of the season.
True, the Gunners could do with a player of Nketiah’s quality and talent on the substitutes’ bench, but the England Under-21 international will be better off playing first-team football at Leeds.
