Leeds United received offers for Kalvin Phillips, Adam Forshaw, Luke Ayling, Pablo Hernandez, says Angus Kinnear.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United and Bournemouth wanted to sign 23-year-old central midfielder from Leeds in the summer transfer window.
The Daily Mail credited Fulham – who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season – with interest in 27-year-old midfielder Forshaw.
Kinnear has revealed that Leeds received bids for Phillips, Forshaw, Ayling and attacking midfielder Hernandez in the summer transfer window.
The Leeds managing director has also explained why the club sold striker Kemar Roofe to Belgian outfit Anderlecht in the summer transfer window.

Kinnear told The Yorkshire Evening Post: “If you look at the single biggest bids we’ve received for players, we’ve received over £35m worth of bids.
“If you take the biggest bid for Kalvin, Adam Forshaw, Luke, Pablo, there’s £35m we’ve turned down.”
Kinnear added about Roofe: “Kemar obviously only had a year left on his contract and he handled it very maturely and responsibly.
“We tried to find an offer attractive enough for him to stay but ultimately couldn’t come close to matching what he’s been offered elsewhere.”
Signs of ambition
Leeds turning down offers for Phillips, Forshaw, Ayling and Hernandez underlines their ambition this season, and it is great that they are still at Elland Road, as the Whites will need them in their quest to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season.
