But it was business as usual for the Spaniard on Saturday as Kinnear reveals that the transfer guru was working on signing new players ahead of their big return.
He told BBC West Yorkshire Sport: “Our targets have been identified. We know we need to strengthen. We’re working them already. We’re working on them now, today it started in earnest.”
Winning promotion is hard, but staying in the Premier League is harder and Leeds have to throw caution to the wind and go for it this summer.
Remarkably, Marcelo Bielsa still doesn’t have that big of a squad in terms of strength in depth and that’s something that definitely needs to be rectified.
