The Preston North End striker is one of several players linked with moves to Leeds United this month.

Leeds United’s managing director Angus Kinnear has explained to the BBC why Leeds United are unlikely to do a deal for the likes of Preston striker Jordan Hugill in January.
Hugill is one of several strikers to have been linked with a move to Leeds during the current transfer window.
The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals in 28 games for Preston and is likely to cost towards the higher end of seven figures, according to some reports.

And when asked why Leeds could not go in with an offer of £8-or-9-million plus £20,000-a-week for Hugill, for example, Kinnear replied: “Well I think it’s not that we couldn’t, because I think we have the potential to do that. But it’s about making sure we get value for the player.
“I think that, when you look into the market place at the minute and we look at players and we assess whether they can make the type of impact that we need across the rest of the season, and then look at the financials around the deal – it’s about assessing whether you can get value.
“And a lot of the names that have been suggested in the press I don’t think have the potential to deliver – or are significantly better than what we have currently.
“And I also think they would be a departure from our model of being able to operate sustainably from a financial perspective.”

Kinnear also shared his belief that Leeds strikers Kemar Roofe and Pierre-Michel Lasogga can continue to be ‘really powerful’ when paired together – as shown during Saturday’s 4-3 defeat to Millwall – and bemoaned the injuries suffered by both Lasogga and another Whites front man, Caleb Ekuban, this season.
The former West Ham United employee had previously confirmed that Leeds intend ‘think again’ about the design of their new club crest, after it faced a significant backlash upon its release on Wednesday.
