Leeds United signed Adam Forshaw and Tyler Roberts from Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion respectively in the January transfer window.

Forshaw joined Leeds from Championship rivals Middlesbrough, while Roberts moved to the West Yorkshire outfit from Premier League club West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window.
According to BBC Sport, the Whites had to pay Middlesbrough a transfer fee of £4.5 million in order to secure the services of 26-year-old midfielder Forshaw.
According to The Express, Leeds had to pay West Brom a transfer fee of £2.5m in order to secure the services of 19-year-old Roberts, who can operate as a striker or a winger.

Leeds Managing Director Kinnear has explained the club’s decision to sign Forshaw and Roberts in the January transfer window.
Kinnear told Leeds’s official website: “Following the announcements of Laurens De Bock and Yosuke Ideguchi, we are also delighted to be able to welcome Adam Forshaw and Tyler Roberts.
“They both met our dual criteria of being able to have an immediate impact to our prospects of success this season and also to grow and develop with the squad over the long term.
“Once again we faced intense competition to sign both players and the deciding factor in securing their services was ultimately Adam and Tyler’s unswerving desire to play for Leeds United.”

Good signings
Forshaw may have struggled at Middlesbrough this season, but there is no doubt that the 26-year-old is a very good footballer.
The midfielder knows the Championship inside out, and he will be important for Leeds in the second half of the season.
As for Roberts, the teenager is still raw and is developing, but the 19-year-old could prove to be a good long-term signing
