The Leeds United couldn’t contain himself at Elland Road last week it seems.

Leeds United’s Managing Director Angus Kinnear has revealed that some over-zealous celebrating from Victor Orta did result in a broken television at Elland Road last week.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side beat Brentford 1-0 and two of Orta’s summer signings combined for the winner.
Helder Costa, on loan from Wolves, fired in the cross which was converted by Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah.
Graham Smyth of The Yorkshire Evening Post tweeted that Orta celebrated in such a way that there was ‘genuine potential for serious injury’.
And a fan later uploaded a photo on Twitter of a television monitor that had been removed from its place where the Spanish Director of Football had been sitting.
In his program notes for this evening’s League Cup clash with Stoke, Kinnear wrote via Leeds Live: “The victory was only tainted by the first directors’ box yellow card of the season, unsurprisingly relieved by Victor Orta, who contrived to uninstall a TV screen during his typically exuberant goals celebrations.”
Here’s a photo of Orta’s apparent handywork.
Anecdotes such as this definitely enhance Leeds fans’ perception of Orta.
It took a while for the supporters to warm to him after a disappointing first summer in charge of transfers, and then later hiring Paul Heckingbottom.
But the former Middlesbrough man is a popular figure now in West Yorkshire and incidents like last week paint a picture of a man who cares deeply.
