Jack Clarke fell ill during Leeds United’s clash at Middlesbrough last week, before being taken to hospital.

Leeds United Managing Director Angus Kinnear has revealed to West Yorkshire Daily that Jack Clarke is yet to return to training, but insisted that situation ‘isn’t serious’.
The 18-year-old winger was taken to hospital during the second half of Leeds’ 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough last weekend after falling ill on the bench.
Clarke, who was taken off at half time, was released the following day but has not yet returned to training it seems.
Marcelo Bielsa omitted him from his squad for the midweek win over Swansea City, but Kinnear insists that there is nothing to worry about in regards to the youngster’s health.
He told West Yorkshire Daily: “Jack’s in good shape now. He’s happy and he’s smiling. He’s receiving the best possible medical care. The situation isn’t serious.
“We’re just looking to get him back on his feet and back in training as soon as possible.”
Leeds must give Clarke as much time as he needs, and they will, but what a boost it could be for Bielsa’s side when he is back.
It’ll be a boost on a football level, because he’s a fantastic young player and speculation about a move to Tottenham Hotspur [Football London] in January reflects his promise, but it’ll boost morale.
United are a tight-knit bunch and the players will be boosted by their team-mate’s return to the squad, when it does indeed happen.
