Nottingham Forest’s takeover is reported to be close.
Changes appear to be in the pipeline at Nottingham Forest, with The Telegraph reporting a takeover could be completed within three weeks.
An American consortium are going through the due process of attempting to buy a majority stake in the club, but for now Fawaz Al-Hasawi remains in charge.

Goodwill towards the owner appears in short shrift, with the final straw for many being the sale of Oliver Burke to Red Bull Leipzig just before the transfer deadline.
Al-Hasawi remains active on social media, and last night sent a cryptic message out, reminding fans of his presence.
Fans did not react kindly to the owner’s analogy, and were not shy about letting him know.
Here is a look at some of the replies to his message…
Fawaz went onto deny that his message had anything to do with Forest, insisting he would be gone soon and he wishes the club well.
With the club sitting in a lowly 20th place, the feel good factor is well and truly gone at Forest at present, with relegation a real possibility.
A takeover could bring new life into the club, and if it is done in time for January, could allow them to spend and strengthen as required.
Fawaz Al-Hasawi has little to gain from throwing a spanner in the works and delaying the takeover, but his unpredictable ownership so far suggests it cannot be ruled out even at this late stage.
