Darron Gibson has penned a new two-year contract with Everton.

Everton fans appear to be furious that Darron Gibson has been handed a new two-year deal at Goodison Park.
Gibson put pen to paper on a new contract yesterday, which will keep him at the Merseyside club until 2018.
Many Everton fans had believed that Gibson would be leaving this summer, and the vast majority were not particularly concerned about his impending departure.
As a result, the news that Gibson has been handed the chance to stay at Everton has not gone down well.
Whether impending Everton boss Ronald Koeman had much say over the decision is not known.
Koeman is expected to be announced as Everton boss in the next few days, after he agreed to a move from Southampton.
Gibson has had a minimal impact with the Toffees in recent seasons, with most his time being spent on the sidelines due to injury.
Gibson made just 11 appearances for Everton in all competitions last term, with his performances failing to impress.
