According to GiveMeSport, Angers are willing to sell Azzedine Ounahi, a player Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United want to sign in the January transfer window.
The report has claimed that Angers are aware that ‘they have a gem’ in Ounahi, who starred for Morocco at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Morocco reached the semi-finals of the World Cup.
Angers are reportedly ‘willing to cash in’ on the 22-year-old midfielder, described as “absolutely incredible” by AS Roma head coach Jose Mourinho in Goal in December 2022, although the French club would prefer to sell him at the end of the season.
GiveMeSport have added that former Premier League champions Leicester City want to sign Ounahi from Angers in the January transfer window.

Angers stance on Azzedine Ounahi encouraging for Leeds and Newcastle
This reported stance of Angers on Ounahi will come as a boost for Leeds and Newcastle.
Both the Premier League clubs are reported to be interested in the 22-year-old.
Earlier this month, 90min reported that Newcastle, Southampton, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers all want to sign the young midfielder.
AS Roma Live have reported that Leeds are really keen on Ounahi.
