Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United reportedly want Eamonn Brophy.
Ibrox Stadium of Rangers
Eamonn Brophy is one of the best young players in Scotland, and there is no surprise that Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United are reportedly interested in the Kilmarnock striker.
According to TEAMtalk, Scottish Premiership outfit Rangers want to secure the services of the 23-year-old striker this summer.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds and Derby County in the Championship in England are also claimed to be interested in the former Hamilton Academical youngster.
Kilmarnock manager Angelo Alessio has suggested that Brophy could leave Killie this summer, along with his teammates Stephen O’Donnell, Greg Taylor, Stuart Findlay.
Alessio has also suggested that next week he will hold talks with all four of time.
Alessio told The Scottish Sun regarding potential bids for Brophy, O’Donnell, Taylor and Findlay this summer: “I’m worried. Of course. They have to think about their careers but the club can make sure these players stay. If a player comes to me and says ‘Hey boss, I want to leave’, it will be difficult for me.
“I think Kilmarnock can stay in the top six and of course I want to keep my best players. I have not spoken to them yet as they had an extra break. Next week I’ll speak with all of them.”

Good signing for Rangers or Leeds United?
According to BBC Sport, Brophy scored 11 goals and provided two assists for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership during the 2018-19 season.
The 23-year-old is a very good and promising young striker, and the Scotland international will be a good long-term signing for Leeds or Rangers, but he should be given time and afforded patience.
