Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has no plans for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in his team, according to a report.

Journalist Dean Jones has written in GiveMeSport that Tottenham Hotspur want to get rid of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the summer transfer window.

The 28-year-old Denmark international midfielder is reportedly “not in the plans” of Spurs head coach Postecoglou.

Hojbjerg has been on the books of Tottenham since 2020 when he joined from Southampton.

The Dane is under contract at Spurs until the summer of 2025.

In our view, if Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou does not fancy Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, then the North London club should just sell him.

Hojbjerg is 28 now and is at the top of his game at the moment.

The Dane could still fetch a decent transfer fee for Tottenham this summer.

Although Hojbjerg is a very good central midfielder, he is not someone who is particularly great at pushing the team forward and making things happen in the opposition’s area.

Hojbjerg has made 219 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The Denmark international midfielder has scored 12 goals and given 15 assists in those games.

Hojbjerg has played just 14 minutes in the Premier League this season.

Last season, the 28-year-old scored four goals and gave five assists in 35 appearances in the Premier League and scored one goal and provided two assists in seven UEFA Champions League matches.
