Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has given his verdict on Manor Solomon.
Postecoglou has noted how hard Solomon has been working behind the scenes to be fit and ready for Spurs.
So, what has Ange Postecoglou said about Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon? Let’s take a look.
Ange Postecoglou praises Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon
Well, Manor Solomon has not made a huge impact at Tottenham Hotspur since his move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the summer of 2023.
The Israel international, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has made two starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs this season. The 24-year-old has given two assists in those games.
Solomon started his Tottenham career well, but he has not played for the North London club since the win against Liverpool in late September.
Since then, the 24-year-old former Fulham loanee has undergone surgery after suffering a meniscus injury to his right knee in training.

Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou has been raving about Solomon and has noted how hard he is working. However, the former Celtic boss has added that the winger is not ready to get back into action.
Postecoglou told Football.London about Solomon: “Manor is sort of progressing but is still not anywhere near rejoining the group. He still has a bit of a way to go. Again, it is another frustrating one for him.
“He is working really hard, keen to get back and we were hoping for an early return date, but it’s been little things along the way that have set him back. Fair to say, he is still a fair bit away from the group.”
My View: Wait for Manor Solomon until next season
In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur fans should not expect too much of Manor Solomon this season. I think that the current campaign is a write-off for the winger.
Solomon is a very good winger, but he has not played for months. I do not think that we can expect him to make an impact as soon as he recovers. It takes time for players to get into rhythm after a long-term injury.
Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and are doing well at the moment despite the absence of Solomon.
