Ange Postecoglou is a big admirer of Brighton & Hove Albion star Evan Ferguson, who Tottenham Hotspur have marked as a long-term transfer target to replace Harry Kane.

That is according to talkSPORT, which notes that Postecoglou loves Ferguson but Tottenham have held off negotiating with Brighton. Spurs know their Premier League rivals are loath to see the 18-year-old leave the Amex. He also only signed a new, five-year contract this April.

So, Tottenham have now marked the Brighton forward as a long-term target to replace Kane in north London. Postecoglou is keen to reinforce his attack after Kane joined Bayern Munich over targeting the Premier League goal record. But they accept Ferguson is unlikely to move.
